- I have always had a strong interest in recording - first through writing, then photography, and now video - and I constantly look for ways to express my creativity through unique gifts. There is something about giving that really grabs me. A friend once showed me a video of her elderly neighbor. I was moved to tears by her stories and wanted to gift my 6 brothers and sisters with our parents' stories. After three years I was able to get them to sit in front of a camera with me, and in the process, my business was conceived and birthed, with their support. Fast forward 13 years. My dad is now 87 and suffering from Alzheimers. It is good to know that I can see him as the man he once was by watching his biography on DVD. Over the years, my parents have thoroughly enjoyed watching their entrepreneurial daughter expand Reflections of a Lifetime to include stories from birth through memorials - the full life spectrum. I still find my greatest joy in helping families create heartwarming videos, and though I know I'm being paid for my efforts, every time I hand off their DVDs, it still feels like a gift. Life is Beautiful. Share the memories!
